hi there mr. mandy,

i am daniel and i chanced upon your site and that of mr. carlos celdran. i am a native of downtown manila and i must say, though i know all the streets and districts you speak of, your insights gave me a fresh look at our beloved city. kudos!

i was also wondering if you have any scheduled tours on any date between june 3 to 9, 2007. i've a filipino-american cousin who has never, ever set foot in our fair islands and i intend to show him around NOT using those packaged, sensory-dulling "touristic" tours. i suppose you know what i mean.

i would appreciate if i could get in touch with you. you can reach me through my personal email - daniel.tayona@gmail.com or my mobile - 0926-6939237, and i will highly appreciate if i can arrange a tour conducted by you.

am truly greatful for you and mr. celdran for giving a better insite of our beuatiful city.

sincerely,
danielpt

p.s.
i LOVE the deatils and art within the walls of the feu. two of them stand out for me - the manansala sculptures at the foot of the flagpole in the middle of the campus quadrangle and the botong francisco murals on the walls of their chapel. i would spend hours as a child staring at this masterpieces. but that was years ago. considering the work they have done refurbishing the campus, i wonder how these works are these days. one time, i will visit the feu campus and just relive the memory of staring at these masterpieces.

thank you again....

Hi Ivan !

Thank you for the wonderful 2 hour walk in Intramuros, where you treated us so well: always checking if my 66-year old Mom was doing fine and being so patient with my 4-year old son Khalil.

I will recommend everybody that would like to sightsee Manila to join your tour. I am sure that the Binondo tour you recommended us, is also very interesting. Maybe for next trip.

It was very interesting to listen to the history of Manila and "Pilipinas".

Keep the good job and be sure that when asked I will give your name as the best Manila tourist guide.

Cheers !
/Marisol (Madrid, SPAIN)
